Mindfulness Based Approach to Caring (MBAC)

This course if for everyone who cares.  Some of us have a caring role in our family lives, some work in the caring professions.  All of us have a need to care for ourselves.  This course is for anyone who experiences difficulty in their lives - and who doesn't?

Based on the well known MBSR, this course is shorter and more accessible.  The fee includes a handbook, access to audio guidance to support practice in your everyday life and a course completion certificate. Delivered over four 1.5 hour sessions, it has the following themes:

  • Welcoming our experience
  • Staying with our experience
  • Observing our experience
  • Cultivating a wise compassionate stance in midst of our experience
